The PS2 to PS3 controller adapters are a very cost effective way to provide the multi-player experience for a cost efficient price. The Sony controllers themselves go for anywhere between $39.99 - $49.99 and in most cases that is too much to justify the purchase. However, with the PS2 to PS3 adapters you can reuse your old PS2 controllers on the Playstation 3. Considering they retail for anywhere between $4-$7, it's probably one of the best choices considering even the low-caliber third-party PS3 controllers retail for around $30. However, sixaxis control is inaccessible but thankfully not many games utilize the function. Also, the construction is somewhat low-quality, so it is very important to plug the adapter in very carefully to avoid any breakage.
